I am a licensed psychotherapist and certified psychoanalyst with over 20 years’ experience. I’ve helped many people navigate their struggles to find freedom and vitality through deeper self-knowledge and creative perspective. I’m pleased to work with adults of all identities and backgrounds in individual and couples psychotherapy.
My orientation is psychodynamic, so our work will entail a close and collaborative relationship and a deep exploration of your inner experience.
Every therapeutic relationship is unique and so every treatment is unique. As our work develops, I often integrate other techniques as we see that they work for you. Take a look at my “Approach to Therapy” page to learn more.

About the Artwork on this Site
From Daniel
I feature the artworks of Duy Huynh on my site because of the experiences they create. Duy’s beautiful and gently surrealistic images evoke the kinds of imaginative and dreamlike modes of perception that are essential to personal transformation. They are infused with mystery and spirit, inviting us more deeply into our experience. My thanks to him for his inspiration and permission to use his work here. Click on the paintings for titles and enlarged images. Check out his website for more.
From Duy Huyhn, the Artist
Images that often re-ocurr in my paintings, such as moths/butterflies, boats, trains, musical instruments, flowers, trees, umbrellas, etc. have become a personal vocabulary used in deliberate combinations to hopefully evoke introspection and a sense of wonderment. . . At the core of my work is a search for balance and continuity, usually between two or more mysteries. The characters I create often float (literally) somewhere between science and spirituality, memory and mythology, structure and spontaneity, ephemeral and eternal, humorous and profound, connectivity and non-attachment. The intent isn’t to provide enlightenment, but to celebrate the quest itself.
